Career background
After leaving school I worked for a highly regarded global broker, my responsibilities included the administrative tasks and tea making. After a short travel career break, I stepped back into the industry and worked my way up to more senior Account Handling positions servicing clients across East Anglia and the South East. At this point I decided that my personality and skills would be better suited in a new business focused role, as a Development Executive I spent time on-the-road visiting prospective customers learning about their businesses in order to provide tailored insurance solutions. For 3 years I gained valuable experience whilst working for an insurer on the ‘other side of the fence’ at the NFU Mutual. Having been made redundant, I joined Marsh Commercial as a New Business Developer where I spent 18 month. Fast forward to July 2021, I joined Hugh J Boswell as a Corporate Account Executive.

Interests
I enjoy walks with my partner and our dog Mabel (our 1 year old whippet), we have plenty of countryside trails on our doorstep. My personal interests are mainly around sport, particularly football and rugby. I regularly turn out for a local football team and play 5 aside. In my free time, I enjoy time in my garden or visiting a local independent pub or restaurant with my friends and family.
