Career Background
I have spent my career in the Insurance Industry, serving 15 years for NFU Mutual in various different roles. My first role was Motor & Personal Lines Underwriter before moving into the Commercial Insurance department, also as an Underwriter. I did these 2 roles for a combined 8 years before moving into the Agency Network, as an Account Handler in the Hethersett Branch of the NFU Mutual. Here I served many clients, in many ways including face to face new business visits and carrying out renewal reviews. In 2017 I became Office Manager of the Agency and focused on developing new and existing staff, encouraging growth and business development as well as carrying out monthly quality checks.

Throughout my time at NFU Mutual, I frequently came up against Hugh J Boswell as a competitor and clients always spoke very highly of the service received. I decided to join the team in December 2022 as a Business Support Manager. I did my research and found it is a growing business and has values and beliefs that match my own.
Interests
Away from work I spend most of my time being Dad to my 2 young daughters. I also play 5 a side football and, time permitting, enjoy a round of golf.
